Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley will take his time in finding a new football director.

Ashley intends to replace Joe Kinnear, eventually, but The Journal says the Toon have no immediate plans to make any changes at the top of the club. There has been talk of Derek Llambias returning as chief executive, and Glenn Hoddle linked as director of football.
