Former England boss Glenn Hoddle says he would have included Fulham striker Bobby Zamora in his World Cup squad.
In a column for the Daily Mail, Hoddle wrote: "If I was taking this group to South Africa, I'd pick a team in a 3-5-2 formation.
"One player I'd have liked to have seen included is Bobby Zamora, the Fulham striker.
"I signed him from Brighton for Tottenham and he was always going to need time. I left five games later and he didn't really get the chance to develop.
"He would have complemented all the other strikers in this squad and has enjoyed an excellent season.
"It's a shame his achilles injury ruled him out."
