Former West Ham United goalkeeper Shaka Hislop believes that David De Gea is a better goalkeeper than Liverpool's Alisson.

The Brazilian is a big money arrival from Roma, while De Gea endured a difficult World Cup.

But the ex-Hammers keeper still believes De Gea is the best in the Premier League.

"Despite a disappointing World Cup, that's putting it nicely, David De Gea has been the Premier League's best by a country mile for the last three or four years," the former West Ham goalkeeper told ESPN FC.

"And despite the performances of Ederson over the last season and a touch, and Alisson over the last few games, if I'm picking a team right now, I'd still go with David De Gea."
