Hines turns down initial West Ham offer

Zavon Hines has rejected an offer to stay at West Ham United but manager Sam Allardyce believes he will remain at Upton Park.

The 22-year old comes out of contract this summer and has decided to keep his options open for the future after turning down the Hammers but Allardyce knows there is a chance he will hold onto the Jamaican-born English striker.

"Zavon has turned down a contract but that doesn't mean that is the end of the matter and he will leave the club," said Allardyce.

"As far as I am aware talks are still ongoing and he could stay."
