Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain has turned down an offer from AS Roma.

Juve management are eager to sell the Argentine, who spent last season away on-loan with AC Milan and Chelsea.

Higuain was offered a chance by Roma, but Pipita has rejected the option - along with all others.

The veteran wants the chance to play under new Juve coach Maurizio Sarri and hopes to prove himself in preseason.

Higuain has told friends he is confident he can be an ideal foil for Cristiano Ronaldo in Juve's attack.
