Manchester City's valuation of a quartet of players who do not feature in Pep Guardiola's long-term plans is believed to be holding up two key transfers for the club.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that City's asking price for experienced foursome Yaya Toure, Wilfried Bony, Aleksandar Kolarov and Jesus Navas is too much for interested clubs which has thus far derailed any potential summer sale.
It is understood that Guardiola does not see the aforementioned players in his team beyond the upcoming season and is hoping to do business for all of them in the current transfer window if he can.
However, the £25million fee for a player like Bony, who has struggled since arriving from Swansea City for £28m, is far too much for other clubs as are his £100,00-per-week wages.
Spanish winger Navas, who does not possess the control Guardiola expects, is on around £90,000 a week, as is dependable left-back Kolarov. Both players could be shipped out before the new campaign but only if there are willing suitors.
In Toure's case, the Ivory Coast star has a year to run on his enormous £220,000 weekly salary and is unlikely to be sold as no club would be willing to match what he earns in Manchester.
City are wishful of selling are last two of the above so they can finalise deals for Schalke winger Leroy Sane and Everton centre-half John Stones - both of whom will cost in excess of £40million.
