Guus Hiddink believes his Chelsea side needs to make the most of their attacking opportunities.
The Blues twice led West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night but were eventually held to a 2-2 draw.
Hiddink feels his side had chances to kill off the contest and was disappointed that they could not overcome the Baggies on home soil.
"I cannot blame them on their attitude or commitment, which I think is rather normal, but we have to finish it off a little bit better, that is what we did not do," he said.
Cesar Azpilicueta opened the scoring in the 20th minute before Craig Gardner responded for Albion just after the half-hour mark.
An own-goal from Gareth McAuley in the 73rd minute edged the Blues in front prior to James McClean's 86th-minute equaliser as Chelsea remained 14th on the Premier League table.
