Hibs boss Ross insists Sheffield Utd target Nisbet will only leave for mega offer

Hibs boss Jack Ross says only a mega offer would convince them to sell Kevin Nisbet.

Sheffield United are eyeing the young striker.

Ross said: “If you are having a good season, you accept teams will be looking at your players. It is a reflection of your team having a good season and those players playing well.

“We had it a lot last season with Martin Boyle and we will have it again. I would be amazed if people don't look at Martin closely because of what he provides for us.

“There may come a time in the future when the club has a decision to make. I wouldn't want to lose him. But I would expect for those in senior management it would need to be something that turns their heads because, other than that, we have to balance it out to what he has contributed and the value he gives us on the pitch.

“If it's going to be a problem for us, then it isn't the worst one to have if it is a big enough amount to make the club interested."
