Heung-min Son is delighted with his preseason form for Tottenham.
Son has racked up two goals and three assists in his two preseason friendlies so far at Colchester last week and MK Dons on Wednesday night.
“It's still preseason, some of the guys still aren't here (after international duty this summer), but we will try to be positive, try to get our fitness, our sharpness, this is most important for preseason," Son told the club's website.
“We're working really hard to be fit for the start of the season, not fit for preseason, so now big games are coming against Chelsea and Arsenal, and we look forward to playing against them, but obviously we want to push as hard as possible for the start of the season.
“I've only played two games, but it's been really positive. The guys have been working really hard to make us proud, to make the fans proud. It's preseason, the energy is there, the positivity is there, and it isn't long until the season starts, so I hope we can get a strong start."
On his new contract, the striker added: “I couldn't wait to sign the contract. I said before, it's already an honour to play at this big club and I just want to continue. I want to shout to the fans, they keep supporting us, amazing. I've been here for many, many years and we will work as hard as possible to make you proud and happy."
