Hertha Berlin whiz Javairo Dilrosun has spoken of initial move to Manchester City.

Dilrosun left City last summer for Hertha and has played his way into the Holland squad.

He told ANP: "If Ajax had also offered me a contract in the youth team, I probably would not have gone to Manchester City at all.

"But Marc Overmars only called when I had given my yes.

"Maybe it was good too. In Amsterdam, friends wanted to hang with me or do wrong things. Then I went to England with my parents and only counted on football."
