Hertha Berlin coach Ante Covic is delighted with the progress of Daishawn Redan.

The former Chelsea striker was snapped up by Hertha last month and scored twice for the U23s this week.

"He's doing well, he's greedy for goals," enthused Covic. "I love players who are greedy for more.

"He is one of the young players who can hardly wait to take the next step."

Redan also said: "It feels good to have stood on the pitch for 90 minutes. That's good for my fitness. I hope that after many minutes and a few goals I will be added to the first team soon."
