Hertha Berlin chief Michael Preetz insists Marko Grujic wants to return next season.

The Liverpool midfielder has just enjoyed an impressive season-long loan with Hertha.

And Preetz told Kicker: "He would like to stay. And Liverpool sees that the loan has worked - and that it makes sense to give the player a second year in a location he knows and feels comfortable with.

"I think we have a good arguments."

He added: "Marko quickly found his way around us and played an important role here."
