Ander Herrera wants Manchester United to continue performing like they did against Everton on Saturday.
United bounced back from their defeat against Arsenal with a fine 3-0 victory over the Toffees at Goodison Park on Saturday and the performance was arguably the Red Devils' best so far in the league this season.
Spanish midfielder Herrera was one of the star players for United with a goal and an assist and the midfielder has now urged his side to maintain similar performance levels throughout the rest of the campaign.
Herrera told the Manchester Evening News: "When you want to fight for everything you can, of course, lose to Arsenal because they are a very good team but then you have to react like we did. You have to show to everyone that Manchester United are going to be involved in everything and fight for everything.
"This was the way we had to react after Arsenal. The first 25 minutes were fantastic. We controlled the game and created chances. We didn't let them play and they are a good team. So we can be proud.
"We looked full of confidence and were very controlled. But if we want to be champions then this is not enough we have to keep on playing well. Now we have to play against Man City in the Premier League and if we want to be the champions then we have to keep playing like this.
"I think this season our form has been more evenly balanced. Last season we were more up and down. Of course you can lose games against Arsenal, but not the way we did that's true but we came back strong.
"The calendar is going to be tough. We have a lot of hard games coming up with CSKA in Europe, City in the league, Middlesbrough in the Capital One Cup and then Crystal Palace away so we have to show the same form as we did against Everton.
"This month if we do well it will say that we want to be champions. But we have to keep playing like this. It won't be easy but we lost 3-0 at Goodison last year, Chelsea lost earlier this season and Man City won, but they had to fight a lot so we can be so proud."
