Former Lazio star Hernanes admits he misses the club's fans.

Hernanes, now 34, is currently turning out for Sao Paulo.

“I really miss the fans, as well as the beautiful city of Rome," he said. “Every time I go back, it's always exciting.

“I was in Italy at the end of January and I passed through the capital because I stopped there on my way to the San Paolo.

"When I was at the airport, I met some fans and, even if it was only for a few minutes, it was great to relive that atmosphere."
