Hernandez not considering Swansea for relegation

Pablo Hernandez is confident that Swansea City, four points above the drop zone, will avoid relegation from the Premier League this season. The 28-year-old winger was involved in a similar fight for survival six years ago when he was playing for Getafe in 2007-08.

"When I played at Getafe six years ago, it was a similar situation," the Spaniard said in the South Wales Evening Post.

"When I speak to the other players, I say 'I know this season is very long because we've played a lot of games in Europa, the FA Cup and the Capital One Cup'.

"It is not easy for one team to play a season like this. But the team is confident. The team have played well.

"Now the thing is staying in the Premier League. The football is good, the confidence is good and I think we can do it."
