Hercules have snapped up winger Ellery Cairo.
The 32-year-old, whose contract with NAC Breda expired in the summer, has signed a one-year deal with the Eredivisie outfit after impressing on trial.
"He has in recent weeks had a fair chance to prove himself here and show that he will improve our squad," director Nico-Jan Hoogma told the club's website.
"He grabbed that chance and so Ellery has signed a contract for the remainder of the season."
Cairo started his career with Feyenoord and also had spells with Excelsior (loan), FC Twente, Freiburg, Hertha Berlin and Coventry before his two-year stint at NAC.
