Primera Liga new boys Hercules are close to pulling off the signing coup of Paraguay star Nelson Valdez.
The striker is available from Borussia Dortmund and has declared an ambition to move to Spain this summer.
Local Alicante sources say Hercules have struck terms with Dortmund over a €3 million fee for Valdez, with club officials in Germany this week to finalise the deal.
