Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has revealed that Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne is going through a personal issue.

The midfielder is in the form of his life, helping his team to the Champions League final in a 4-0 thrashing of Real Madrid.

Speaking as a pundit on CBS Sports, Henry outlined that De Bruyne is playing through a private matter that has impacted him significantly.

“It was [a touching moment]. I can't say it because I have to keep that private," Henry said of a conversation he had with De Bruyne.

“But from what he said to me, I even more respect how he played tonight and how he came and battled with his team. I can't share what he said because I can't share it. That's how it is.

“But once again I will go back to, for me he is the most important player."
