AS Monaco coach Thierry Henry defended his players after their 4-0 Champions League thrashing by Club Brugge.
Defeat saw the struggling French side eliminated from the Champions League and Arsenal icon Henry's difficult start to life as the club's manager continued with a battering at the hands of the Belgian outfit.
"The score does not really reflect the match, but in the Champions League if you do not score, you find yourself in this situation," Henry said afterwards, according to Monaco's club website.
"In spite of our good start to the match, we fail to score. After we take concede three goals in twelve minutes I noticed that as soon as we missed something we stopped playing."
