Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson is expecting to feature off the bench for the Europa League final against Sevilla on Wednesday.
The England international made his comeback from the knee injury he suffered last month with a substitute appearance against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday and now expects to play a substitutes' role in the decider in Basel.
"I don't expect to start," said the 25-year-old. "I've been out a long time.
"I've only played 30 minutes, and the team has done very well to reach the final.
"But, at the same time, I feel good. I hope I've been OK in training, and I'm ready to play for as long or as little as the manager wants
"The injury has been good, in the last few weeks it has progressed really well. I've trained a few times and managed to play at the weekend.
"I don't know the team, we will probably only find out a few hours before the game, as always.
"It's a huge night for everybody involved and every single player wants to play in it."
