Henderson confident being outright Man Utd No1 next season

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson expects to be first-choice next season.

Henderson expects to be Manchester United's N o1 goalkeeper next season with David de Gea's future at the club in doubt, reports The Sun.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is going to be without his first-choice goalkeeper for the rest of the month after De Gea travelled back to Spain for the birth of his first child, who was delivered on Thursday.

Henderson will replace the Spaniard as the No 1 at Old Trafford for at least the next five games in his absence and has a major opportunity to stake his claim for permanent residency between the sticks.

But the 23-year-old has his eyes set on a more permanent stay between the sticks for Man United.
