Hellas Verona have confirmed Salvatore Bocchetti as their long-term coach.

Bocchetti had stepped up from the Primavera after the sacking of Gabriele Cioffi last week.

The former defender has now signed a five-year deal as head coach.

Verona confirmed: "Hellas Verona FC is pleased to announce the renewal of the contract of the Gialloblù coach, Salvatore Bocchetti, until 30 June 2027.

"The Club congratulates Mr. Bocchetti and wishes him a successful career on the Gialloblù bench."
