Hellas Verona coach Tudor demands more after thumping Sassuolo

Hellas Verona coach Igor Tudor felt they could've done more after thrashing Sassuolo 4-2.

The result puts Verona into the European places.

“This is a brick in the wall we are building towards safety and 39 points, nothing more than that," insisted Tudor on DAZN.

“Until we get there, we cannot think about anything else. The lads had a good game today and I congratulate them."

Antonin Barak scored a hat-trick along with Gianluca Caprari also scoru

Tudor also said: “We should've scored seven or eight goals. Sometimes, football can punish you for not taking those chances, just as we saw last week against Salernitana. It was a thoroughly deserved victory today, probably our best first half performance of the season.

“If you don't go at 100km/h, you will struggle in modern football. We score many goals because we have talented players, otherwise we wouldn't be so effective."
