Heerenveen midfielder Martin Odegaard has welcomed interest from Ajax.
On-loan from Real Madrid, Odegaard has been linked with Ajax as a replacement for Barcelona bound Frenkie de Jong.
After their 0-0 draw with Utrecht, Odegaard: “My agent is in constant contact with Real Madrid. I first want to end the season here in a good way and then we will continue to look together next summer, I have said that before.
"Playing time is important to me and it will be difficult in Madrid, so we have to find the best solution for both parties. I have not heard anything about the mentioned transfer fee, to be honest.
“They are all rumours and that is part of football, you have to deal with that. It's hard, I don't want to feed the speculation. Ajax is a great club, but I don't want to speculate about it. I do not know if it is true what is being said in the media."
