Heerenveen are in talks to sign Manchester City midfielder Rodney Kongolo.

The Daily Mail says Kongolo is in talks over a move to Heerenveen.

The 20-year-old joined City from Feyenoord in 2014 but has 12 months left on contract.

Any deal is expected to include a sell-on and buy-back clause.

The Dutchman spent last season on loan at League One outfit Doncaster Rovers.
