Heerenveen expect Stoke, Newcastle target Finnbogason to leave

Heerenveen chief Hans Vonk admits they're likely to sell Alfred Finnbogason in the summer.

The Iceland international striker has complained about being blocked from joining Fulham in January, while he is also interesting Stoke City and Newcastle United.

Discussing Mark Uth's return from his loan with Heracles Almelo, Vonk admitted: "With the possible sale of Alfred, we'll need to find his goals, but that's a nice challenge for Mark Uth."
