Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin says they must go for the FA Cup this season.
Bellerin says a long run can only be good for new manager Mikel Arteta's plans to bed down his methods.
“The more games we play, the more we can improve, the more experience for the younger players and the older players," said Bellerin, whose side face Bournemouth on Sunday in the fourth round.
“And, right now, with the change of Mikel as a coach, every single game is an opportunity to learn and to adapt ourselves to the new way of playing.
“So, taking us through to the next round doesn't only take us closer to the trophy, but it will also make us better players.
“Of course, at Arsenal , every single trophy is silverware you have to fight for.
“And the FA Cup is close to my heart personally, but also the club's – it is a competition every Arsenal fan wants to win every season and we have a chance to do so this year."
