Hearts loanee Sutton to make Central Coast Mariners debut

Central Coast Mariners new boy John Sutton will make his debut for the club this weekend.

The 28-year old striker, who has joined the Mariners from Scottish club Heart of Midlothian, will be in the starting eleven for Saturday's home clash with Wellington Phoenix and head coach Graham Arnold is expecting big things.

"John will start," Arnold said. "We bought him out from Scotland for a reason and that's to play.

"He's looked very good in training, he's fitted into the group extremely well. It's just a matter of him now learning how we play and the players around him learning how he plays.

"He's a hardened pro and we're very excited to have him here."
