Hearts boss Laszlo justifies cautious tactics

Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo admits his first thought is to keep a clean sheet. The Jambos are third in the SPL table and have conceded a shade over a goal a match in their 28 encounters to date.

Laszlo has been criticised at times this season for his cautious attitude but insists: "I like attacking football and I think we make a combination between defensive and attacking styles.

"If you don't have so many scorers you must be dangerous from other positions. This was my way to build the team. At the moment, I will not break my rule.

"The first point in my thinking is if you don't give away any goals, then something can always happen up front.

"This is the team I have, and a manager must know what his team is capable of. You must know the strengths and then make your team stronger."
