HB Koge coach Dan Agger says star signing Jon Flanagan is back in Liverpool recovering from a foot injury.

Agger admits he threw the fullback into first team football too soon and now Flanagan is undergoing rehab with a former Liverpool physio on Merseyside.

Agger told Bold: "Jon has a man with him full time so he can get the best rehabilitation. He has someone who knows him inside and out. We both had him at Liverpool as he is our old physiotherapist.

"He then comes back to us, where he will start up quietly and build up.

"Then we have to see if it can turn into a match or two in the autumn, but if that is not the case, we will be fully operational from January."
