Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has revealed his conversation with Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri when the latter was appointed.
Sarri knew that Hazard was thinking about a move to Real Madrid.
But he spoke with the player, laid out his plans for the season and convinced him to stay for at least another year.
Hazard told the Premier League Show: "He just told me that he wanted me to be one of the best players in the world. That's it.
"And he tried to give me this confidence… and he asked me to score goals.
"When I speak with him he always says, 'You can score three goals every game'.
"But you know sometimes he is hard, but I try to do my best.
"We knew that Sarri was a fantastic manager. He showed to England now that he's maybe one of the best in the world.
"So at the moment like I say we are playing good, we are scoring goals, creating chances. So it's good to be here."
