Hazard: I'll leave if Chelsea go backwards

Eden Hazard has again stated he is willing to stay with Chelsea if they can assure him of their ambitions next season.

Before Belgium's World Cup opener today against Panama, Hazard was again asked about the transfer speculation.

He told L'Equipe: "I do not want to talk about transfers right now. I've been asked so many times about it.

"As I said before, I won everything in London, except for the Champions League. If I'm here in my career, it's thanks to Chelsea. It would be too easy to say: I want to leave.

"That's why before anything else I'd like to know what will happen at the club next year. I am waiting to see if the coach stays or leaves. If I stay, it is for the team to be better than the season we have just lived. I do not want to stay to be less good."
