Kai Havertz is set to make a transfer demand to Bayer Leverkusen TODAY as he pushes to join Chelsea.
BILD says the midfielder will ask Leverkusen on Thursday to finalise his sale to the west London club.
The 23-year-old has scored 17 times in all competitions for the Champions League hopefuls.
Although Havertz has openly said that playing for a club in Europe's top competition is not a must when he considers his next move.
The Blues have been quick to act in the transfer market having already raided the Bundesliga for RB Leipzig's Timo Werner.
The 30-goal striker will provide competition for current forwards Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud.
