Hamilton Academical have swooped for Nigel Hasselbaink after the teenage striker impressed on trial. Hasselbaink is the nephew of former Chelsea and Leeds forward Jimmy Floyd and arrives at Hamilton from PSV Eindhoven.

The 19-year-old had a spell on loan with Go Ahead Eagles last season and has scored several goals during trial matches for Accies.

Boss Billy Reid told the club's official website: "Nigel gives us more options up front, he is pacey and has a good shot. I've liked what I've seen in him."
