Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl believes the team have turned around their poor form.
The Saints were impressive in their 2-1 win against Norwich City in midweek.
And Hasenhuttl reserved praise for his attacking duo Danny Ings and Shane Long.
Both of them worked tirelessly to ensure the Saints pressed from the front.
"It's the result of a guy [Ings] working his ass off and being absolutely positive all the time," said Hasenhuttl to reporters.
"You can see how much he invests to win balls and work for the team. He's on a fantastic run."
Hasenhuttl continued: "We found good answers in the last few games and this is more important than the win.
"Shane Long was important for our game, he has something that gives you a chance to immediately get behind the last line.
"He's always hunting for every ball in behind and this is absolutely necessary against every opponent. As long as he has power he was very important for our game.
"This was exactly what I expected from him, he showed he can play from the beginning and be a very important player for us."
