Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl admits Liverpool loanee Takumi Minamino must work harder to improve his play off the ball.
Minamino has enjoyed a fruitful start to his loan spell with Saints, scoring his second goal for the club in the draw with Chelsea on Saturday.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was a fan of the Japan international and doesn't want him to lose him permanently.
But the German did express his concern over Minamino's off-the-ball effort, a concern reiterated by Hasenhuttl.
"With the ball, he's definitely a win for us", Hasenhuttl told BT Sport.
"Off the ball, still has to do a little bit more. But he will learn this. This is not something you learn form one thing to the next, it will take a bit of time.
"Yes today against such a strong side, it was important that everybody was working."
