Hart holds no grudges with Guardiola over Man City exit

Former Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is not upset with Pep Guardiola at the way he left the club.

Hart was sidelined by Guardiola almost immediately, as he did not have the necessary ability on the ball that the manager wanted from his keeper.

While Hart was disappointed at the time, he does not hold any grudges when looking back on how things transpired.

"I was fairly concerned," Hart told The Guardian when asked about the time that Guardiola took over at City in 2016.

"Lots of important people tried to reassure me. But you just have a feeling, don't you?

"I came back late from the Euros and he made it clear when I got there that I needed to be out by that window.

"That's Pep's brilliance. He makes decisions and stands by them.

"I don't dislike him. We get on as men and we both love football."
