Harry Maguire spies captaincy at Man Utd

Leicester City defender Harry Maguire will move to Manchester United with plans to becoming club captain.

The Sun says the England defender is still pushing for a move away from Leicester, who are still demanding up to £85million.

But Maguire, also a target of Manchester City, believes he has the right temperament to skipper one of Europe's biggest club sides.

Although he grew up as Sheffield United supporter, Maguire's defensive heroes were United stars Steve Bruce, Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand.

If Maguire completes a move to Old Trafford, he knows he would not immediately land the armband.

But the centre-back believes he could persuade boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to one day given him the job as club captain.
