Steve Harper has triggered a 12-month option in his Hull City contract.

The Hull Daily Mail says Harper will remain with the Tigers for another season.

He has indicated a willingness to enjoy one final season as a player before turning his attentions to coaching and, ahead of turning 40 next March, the chance is there to have a Tigers swan-song.
