Eriksen scored for Inter in their 1-1 draw with Napoli for the second-leg of their Coppa Italia semifinal - which saw the Nerazzurri knocked out on the away goals rule.
"If he switches to playing with 1-2 (in attack), it may indicate that it will be Christian in that role, and there are not many deep runs without a ball, and so it is important to get Christian on the ball, because that's what happens," says Hareide to TV 2 Sport.
"He can solve it, but he solves everything because he is Christian. Christian is proficient in confined spaces. He sees space before anyone else. He is insanely good at the unused spaces - also playing the ball in those spaces."
