Former Manchester City midfielder Owen Hargreaves has urged Leroy Sane to stay.

Hargreaves reckons brilliant Manchester City winger Sane should snub interest from Bayern Munich.

He said, “To leave City and the football they play under Pep Guardiola is a tough choice.

“Maybe it's a lifestyle choice and he wants to live closer to home. But let's be honest, football-wise it doesn't get much better than Manchester City.

“I think Leroy wants to be the best – and if you have the best manager in the game then that makes it a tough decision.

“I remember interviewing Leroy and him saying the detail Pep gives players is something else.

“But that's what players love about Pep. His attention to detail is off the charts. Look at Raheem Sterling. All players have talent, but Pep maximises it."
