Owen Hargreaves believes that Liverpool have an advantage heading into their second leg against Bayern Munich.
The Reds drew 0-0 at home in the first leg of their round of 16 game.
While an away clash in Germany is difficult, Hargreaves believes that Joshua Kimmich being suspended is a big benefit.
Liverpool will also be able to select Virgil Van Dijk, who was suspended for the game.
Hargreaves told BT Sport: "[Kimmich] arguably their best player over the past two seasons. Today he played like a proper German full-back.
"That yellow card could change everything, because they're going to need to score at home, and he's their greatest source of assists."
