Champions League winner Owen Hargreaves believes Takumi Minamino has a big chance of establishing himself at Liverpool over the New Year.
The Japan international had made an indifferent start to life at Liverpool, since joining the club just over a year ago.
Hargreaves told the : “I think he is still trying to find his feet, and find his role.
“When you play in this Liverpool team, you've got to get numbers. To get numbers, you have to be the box. He is a really good player, presses well, takes the ball on the half-turn.
“He's getting his opportunity because Jota is out, he can play in midfield, as a false nine or out wide.
“He's not better than the front three of the midfield three, he's a squad player. If he plays in 20 games a season, he can be perfect."
