Hannover 96 are eager to buy outright Arsenal striker Takuma Asano.

Asano has been on-loan at Hanover this season, where he has impressed enough to convince them to push through a permanent deal.

The Japanese's loan doesn't carry a permanent option, but Hannover hope to do business for €3m.

The previous two seasons former Sanfrecce Hiroshima forward Asano also spent on-loan in Germany with VfB Stuttgart.

Now 24, Asano has never played a game for Arsenal - despite three seasons on the books.
