Hannibal makes Birmingham plea to Man Utd management

Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri is eager to see out the season on-loan at Birmingham City.

As things stand, Mejbri is due to remain at Birmingham until next summer - but United do have an option to recall their loan players and are considering doing that with certain prospects in the January window.

However, as far as Mejbri is concerned, he wants to keep on playing senior games.

He was asked about his immediate future during an interview with CGTN. Mejbri said: "I just need some experience and that is what I have in the Championship with Birmingham.

"When I will be back, I will do the pre-season and see what's going on."

On his long-term plans, he told Goal.com: "I am currently playing for Manchester United - and my goal is to achieve any achievement with the best team in the world. I am in Birmingham until next June, and I do my best to serve the team, and will return to Manchester United and I do not know what is in the future."
