Hamza Choudhury has signed a new deal with Leicester City.

The 21-year-old has put pen-to-paper on a new deal with the Foxes running until the summer of 2022.

“I'm so proud to sign a new deal at this great football club," Choudhury told City's club website after signing his new contract.

He added: “I don't know if I can quite put it into words – to sign a new deal here and obviously stay here for hopefully many years to come is incredible.

“When I joined, it was clear that it was a family club, I think that's why me and my family chose Leicester.

“The people in and around the club – as they still are – were so friendly and welcoming, so that's my first real memory of the club."
