Hamilton boss Billy Reid will shortly complete the signing of former Scunthorpe captain Izzy Iriekpen. The 26 year old defender, released by Scunthorpe last week, has agreed personal terms with Accies but is currently visiting his sick mother in Nigeria.

"We've agreed terms with Izzy," Reid said.

"He's in Nigeria at the moment; his mother's not well.

"We're hoping he will come tomorrow and sign for us and be in the squad for Sunday."
