Hamilton fear Old Firm targeting keeper Cerny

Hamilton keeper Tomas Cerny has been on loan at New Douglas Park from Sigma Olomouc for more than a year, with Accies having first option on purchasing the Czech. But Sigma secretary Adam Kosar has revealed both Celtic and Rangers are interested in the 23-year-old, which could result in Hamilton being priced out of the market.

Boss Billy Reid told the Daily Express: "It doesn't surprise me that Tomas is attracting attention.

"He has been outstanding for us over the course of the SPL season and during the latter stages of our title-winning season in the First Division last term.

"We know exactly what the situation is at Sigma and that does not alter the fact that we are confident of keeping Tomas.

"None of this type of speculation is new to Hamilton as we have many talented young players."
