Hamburg defender David Bates has welcomed interest from the Premier League.

However, the 22 year-old Scot insists he's in no rush to leave HSV and Germany.

Arsenal, Everton, Leicester City, Southampton and Watford have all been scouting the centre-half this season.

And Bates told the Hamburger Morgenpost: "Everyone in the world is watching the Premier League.

"It's one of the best leagues in the world, probably the best. But why should I think about it now? I'm happy here."
