Hamburg coach Markus Gisdol has dismissed talk of Chelsea closing a deal for Jann-Fiete Arp.

The teenage striker, who has also been linked with Manchester City, is said to be in advanced talks with Chelsea.

But Gisdol rapped: "Some write adventurous things. It's almost ridiculous sometimes."

However, HSV are concerned as interest intensifies in the teen, reports BILD. Arp is tied to HSV until 2019 and the board is eager to secure him to a longer deal.

Arp said: "It's not always easy. But, it's just like that at the moment."

The player's agent Jürgen Milewski isn't expected to consider offers in January, instead waiting until the summer to discuss the situation with HSV.
